Account Manager / Up-Seller (eBook)

Job Overview

We are seeking an Account Manager / Up-Seller to manage existing clients and increase revenue by upselling eBook-related services. The ideal candidate understands the publishing lifecycle and can confidently recommend value-added services that help authors and businesses succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture existing eBook and publishing clients
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell eBook services such as editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting, publishing, marketing, and audiobook conversion
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams
  • Understand client goals and propose custom eBook growth solutions
  • Ensure smooth project delivery and high client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate client records, upsell history, and follow-ups in CRM systems
  • Meet monthly revenue and upsell targets
  • Handle client concerns, retention, and long-term relationship building

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Up-Seller, or Sales Executive
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience selling eBook, publishing, or digital services
  • Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills
  • Organized, client-focused, and revenue-driven mindset

Preferred (Bonus Skills)

  • Knowledge of Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or self-publishing platforms
  • Experience with international clients (US / UK / AU)
  • Upselling high-ticket publishing or marketing services
